ARTS & CRAFTS/HOME
Creative Craft - Meets the last Thursday of the month at 9:30 a.m. Bring your needlepoint, scrapbooks, knitting, quilting, etc. and share ideas and conversation while working on your craft project.
FOOD AND DRINK
Eaters Unlimited - Luncheon group meets last Friday at 11:30 a.m. at different restaurants around town.
Lunch Bunch - Meets 3rd Thursday, 11:30 a.m., SEPT-MAY, at area restaurants for lunch and conversation.
Couples Dining Out Club - Meets 3rd Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Go to restaurant for dinner then back to host home for dessert and conversation.
Vino Brio - M
eets on the 2nd Saturday of the month at 7:00 p.m.The Brew Crew - Meets on 4th Friday of the month from 5:30 to 8:00. Meet and mingle with friends. All NNL members are invited. You are responsible for your tab and tip. Refer to the Sanddollar ad on page17 for each month’s date and location.

Bridge Club - Meets 1st & 3rd Mondays, 10:00 a.m.
Beginners Bridge Club - Anyone interested in participating in a new beginners bridge club, please come join us. Let’s get a couple tables going!
Bunco Brunch - SEPT - MAY, Meets 3rd Thursday, 9:30 am. at members’ homes with hostess providing light refreshments. Ante is $5.00
Night Bunco - Meets 4th Tuesday, 7:00 p.m. All members take turns being hostess. Hostesses provide drinks, players bring snacks. Ante is $5.00.

Walking Club
- This club is closing as Maico has moved. Would anyone else like to take the chairmanship?Beach Day - Meets every 2nd and 4th Friday at 11:00 a.m. March through October at the J.P. Luby Beach (Zahn Road) access road. Bring a chair, towel, sack lunch, pop, wine, margaritas, a smile and what ever suits your fancy. If it rains then wait for the next scheduled Friday.
MINDFUL MATTERS
Daytime Book Club- Meets last Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. Read a book each month and meet for informal discussion.
Computer Club -
Need answers re: computer problems? Call Gail D. and she will arrange for help at no charge.
MISCELLANEOUS
Rosette Singing Group - This fun group of non-professional singers will rest for the summer, then start rehearsals in October (the first and third Tuesdays at 9:30 am) at Sylvia W’s house.
Antique-Collectors Club - SEPT - MAY Meets the 3rd Thursday, 10 a.m. at members' homes or antique shops. Various programs & shopping trips.
First Movie Club -
Meets 3rd Tuesday at the theater for the first movie of the day.Spanish Club -Meets every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Come learn conversational Spanish with your NNL friends
VOLUNTEER
Hearts & Hands -
Hearts and Hands wants to have fun and help the community. Our projects are short term as far as time commitment but long on heart. Join us for a project that appeals to you, drop off a donation, or bring a cause for us to help with. Our ongoing projects are listed in the Sanddollar. Sign up for our email list and join in when you can.Circle of Caring Club - When hardships come: illness, loss of loved one, stress over a trying situation; whatever it might be, WE will be there to pray for you, send a word of encouragement, and even hand deliver some baked goods to your door. WHY? Because we care! Please contact Melanie P. at sunfuncorpus@yahoo.com if you are interested in being a part of this club or if you or someone you know is in need. Remember, you do not have to feel alone in your journey.

If a request is received for prayers, positive thoughts, food or other assistance, the Chair or Co-Chair will try to verify with the friend in need that it is okay to send out an e-mail or message. Unless a friend in need verifies it is okay to share basic information, then very little detailed information will be given when the Circle Chair or Co-Chair contacts a Team Leader or Assistant Leader with a request to help our friend in need. This way, we have made every effort to respect the privacy of our friend in need, if they so prefer.
